iPhone AI is outright disgusting.

People who know me closely in the office know that I use two phones - an iPhone and a OnePlus. I have been using OnePlus as my primary phone and iPhone as my secondary phone for years.

My eight-year-old top-notch OnePlus has better performance, AI integration and battery performance than iPhone.

One word. Disgusting.

(Yes. Mx chips are the best in phones. What about other components?

Investing and trading in Indian markets as an NRI has traditionally involved more friction than it should have, extra bank dependencies, CP codes, physical paperwork, and higher costs compared to what resident investors face.

Over the course of 2025, some of these long-standing frictions were removed. Following regulatory changes from SEBI and operational changes on our end, investing and trading from abroad has become easier.

Notable Quote: “There is no such thing as a no-sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client some stock or he sells you a reason he can’t. Either way, a sale is made.”

For a guy so young, he sounds brilliant and mature. Similarly Karan Adani has already done very well in ports business. Wish these guys immense success and hope they continue to build infrastructure.

If AI systems stop revealing their internal reasoning, or begin thinking in unintelligible forms, humans lose the one window into their intentions. And AI’s ability to deceive, manipulate, or diverge from human goals could expand unnoticed.

IBM put it this way in a blog post: “In essence, an ASI would be an inexhaustible, hyper-intelligent super-being. A nearly perfect supercomputer available 24/7, with the ability to process and analyse any amount of data with speed and precision that we can’t yet comprehend.”

Last December, I switched from iTerm to Wave Terminal. A terminal app with built-in AI, system charts, advanced terminal and integrating file previews, file editing, AI, web browsing, and workspace organisation. Now, I absolutely love my zsh shell loaded with personalisations with the Oh-my-zsh wrapper and completely reliable. (Looks great graphically too!)

Now, I don’t want to upgrade macOS to a newer version and Wave Terminal BROKE. (They are a great project team and moving fast.)

Back to my home, iTerm.

Lesson: When you want to try things fast, use new shiny tools in the local environment, but in production systems, I follow the CentOS philosophy.

ALWAYS CENTOS IN PRODUCTION. (At least, in my personal deployments.)

Ubuntu - Stable Debian-based Linux distribution, but comes loaded with the latest innovations, latest versions and latest tools.

Cent OS - Prefers Stability over Shine. Very, very stable. Only time-tested and battle-tested old versions of libraries. (Like Royal Enfield Bullet Classic.)

Cent OS 7.x offered git version 1.8 when Ubuntu offered 2.21 3 years back.

The most powerful books reach beyond their pages—beyond those few hours in which they’re read—and indelibly transform how serious readers see the world. Few books achieve such transcendent impact, yet given their physical constraints, it’s remarkable that any do.

It took Xiaomi less than 5 years from zero to produce a car. Apple took 10 and gave up.

Smart people never feel the need to prove themselves hence they feel fine in the shadows unlike idiots who fight to human validation in every sphere of their lives.

Why Society Will Always Create Idiots in Power? Because politics runs on emotion not reason…and most people don’t want to hear uncomfortable truths. They prefer comfortable lies.

The average American’s annual spending—ranging from gasoline to healthcare—is aligned with Rockefeller’s corporate structures, leading to significant wealth flowing upwards to monopolistic corporations rather than being distributed to smaller, innovative startups or local businesses.

An idea contrary to norms has been set in motion, it may survive or die in harness, depending on the ground realities of economic distress that may unfold. American industrial base hollowed out due to the economic interests of the big business and made China great again, now political compulsion of that decapitations are unravelling in USA, soon to be followed by European countries also, the big three of European countries like Germany, France, or Italy and UK suffering from economic anemia.

Trump administration policy is that America is not taking any risks with our soldiers lives and we want to sell weapons and make money. That’s all.

Create value greater than the effort you put in.

Expect the grind.

Accept the risk.

Aim to be a net contributor.

Everything else is a byproduct.

How many features you add to the platform is meaningless if you don’t understand the ESSENCE of the feature you built.

One rule: The whole experience of the feature should be exactly consistent on each platform it supports.

Due example,

The whole point of Pinned Chats in the Microsoft Teams is prioritisation and importance to some people & groups. When you’re overwhelmed with work, jumping between calendar, teams, peers, unnecessary planned calls, code, ticket and other interruptions, if you have to move from using your laptop to the mobile, Pinned Chats should be PINNED.

Not only, such small and little things frustrate the hell out of you during critical moments, they leave a long-lasting memory too. Human minds are biased towards remembering what didn’t work when NEEDED than what WORKED all this time.
